Profile

Kentaro Hattori has extensive experience advising on intellectual property matters, including patent, copyright, trademark and unfair competition law. He also practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law and he has been serving as outside director of a listed company (Hiraga Co., Ltd) since 2016. He has served as Secretary General of International Transaction Law Forum of The Tokyo Bar Association since 2013 and was appointed as Vice Chair of Unfair Competition Law Committee of Japan Patent Attorneys Association in 2018 and 2019.
He has represented various companies and individuals in Japan in a variety of industries, including trading, computer software, communications, chemicals, construction.
